How to style your Branding Photo shoot!
Are you worried about how to dress for and style your Branding Photo shoot?
Are you not quite sure what to wear, how to do your hair, or what will best suit your goals?
Stop right there, no needs to worry and fret over these things! Keep reading. I have some pointers below that will be sure to help you during your photo shoot with me!
First let's talk about colors.
Colors set the tone for your images, they can help you stand out, they even help sell you and your product or service.
Have you ever noticed that a lot of fast-food brands or snack foods have similar colors? This is because research has shown that specific colors catch the human eye. These colors can also make people feel more hungry, excited, tired or other emotions. Well we can use this with your Brand Photo Session as well!
The colors you choose should complement your business or be the colors of your business. The colors are there to make YOU pop.
Some questions to ask yourself when choosing your colors.
“What else can you recommend” you ask?
Layering
This has to be one of my favorites to talk about.
Layering adds so much depth and texture to your outfit! These layers can be sweaters or jackets, hats etc. Or you can think more outside of the box with fun and chunky jewelry or maybe your favorite scarf. These layers help make your images feel more personal and playful at the same time. Layering can also add some fun and unique im

Adding a Jacket can give a little more depth and dimension to your images.

Now you may be asking. “ok those sound great Kaytie, anything else I should consider?”
Patterns and Textures
Patterns should be simple and not too overwhelming. But they are so welcome! Think of medium sized patterns. A suggestion is to not wear checkers prints or stripes as they do not photograph as well.
Playing with textures of fabrics can bring warmth and coziness to your photo shoot. Textures can even make your photos feel more clean and tidy if that is what fits your brand. Think linen, knits, sweaters, denim, leather, or silks. All can be combined in fun and unique ways.

Some other questions to ask yourself.
Most importantly your choices for your styling and wardrobe should represent YOU and YOUR BRAND! I am here to assist you and guide you through the entire process. I want you to feel comfortable and ready to succeed in your photo shoot.
